Have you seen the latest unbelievable home price increases for July 2021?

The graph shown below shows the Median sales prices for homes in the month of July for the last 3 years. And wow, the medain price for an existing home in the Twin Cities Region went up by 12.2%!

The Median price in July 2020 was $303,000. This year the July Median price went up to $340,000.

This graph shows the amount of homes being listed for sale for July 2021 is about the same as the previous two years in July.

The next graph shows that the inventory of homes in the Twin Cities Region is 1.1 months. This is a really low number and means that if no new homes come on the market, ( which has never happended), in 1.1 months there would be no homes left for sale.
